Omsk Confectionery Factory employees have started training in lean manufacturing tools
Experts from the Regional Competence Center within the framework of the national project "Labor Productivity" have started training employees of the confectionery factory "Sladunitsa" in lean production tools. The working group completed the course "Fundamentals of Lean Manufacturing" and "Mapping".
The Sladunitsa company accounts for more than half of the total production of chocolate, confectionery and sugar products in the region. The company became a participant in the national project in September of this year. The Nyashechka candy production line has been selected as a pilot stream.
Earlier, Larisa Yanova, CEO of Sladunitsa, noted that the national project provides for training, mentoring and change management, and these are the components of the company's success. The company expects that the project will optimize the volume of work-in-progress, efficiently organize jobs, reduce losses, and introduce a new candy to the market.
During the training, the company's employees learned that there are 7 types of losses, how to analyze the production process of their own enterprise and identify its problems and bottlenecks, and learned how to map the current flow status. During the training, the RCC expert conducts a business game that allows you to immerse yourself in the real production process, identify and solve problems, eliminate losses and gain experience in optimizing the production process.
"During the training, participants learn the fundamental principles of lean manufacturing, understand the main causes of low process efficiency, and gain experience using basic lean manufacturing tools. Thanks to training sessions, participants can quickly identify the causes of problems, and thanks to the skill of competently mapping flows in production processes, they learn how to set goals and develop an action plan for optimization," said Vitaly Komissarov, coach of the RCC.
