  • The Museum-reserve of "living history" "Starina Sibirskaya" and the State Bolsherechensky Zoo named after V.D. Solomatin. The open-air museum attracts visitors with the opportunity to directly explore the history and culture, architecture, crafts, archeology and nature of the Omsk land. Starina Sibirskaya offers visitors guided tours, entertainment and game programs, participation in reconstructed traditional rituals and folklore and ethnographic holidays related to the traditions of the national calendar. Russia's only zoo in rural areas is the V.D. Solomatin Bolsherechenskiy State Zoo, which covers an area of 9 hectares. The zoo's collection includes more than 200 species and 2,000 specimens of animals from all over the globe, over 50 of which are listed in the Red Books. In addition to performing tasks related to the conservation of wild fauna and breeding of rare species, the zoo staff actively conducts educational work – lectures (including field trips), game classes, organization of holidays and various events. More than 100,000 people visit the zoo every year.
  • The edge of 5 lakes: Danilovo, Lenevo, Shchuchye, Urmannoe and the mysterious fifth – Hidden energy center of the Earth in Okunevo village is a place covered with mystical legends and located in the remote Siberian taiga in the Muromtsevsky district of the Omsk region. According to one version, the lakes were formed many thousands of years ago as a result of a huge meteorite falling to Earth. The water in them is not just pure – it is unique in its composition and contains silver ions. Every year thousands of people come to the edge of the Five Lakes in order to enjoy the beauty of nature, breathe in the clean air of the coniferous forest, swim in the crystal lake waters and touch the real taiga fairy tale.
  • Lakes Ulzhai and Ebeyty are relict salt lakes with halophytes and large deposits of therapeutic sulfide mud. The salinity of the water in Lake Ebeyty exceeds the salinity of the Dead Sea.
  • Achair Crusade Convent, whose history begins at the end of the 19th century with the appearance of an Orthodox women's community near the village of Achair. The monastery is known for its mineral spring, the real miracle of which is the constant temperature all year round – about 36-37 degrees, as well as the presence of its healing properties – carbon dioxide, sulfur, calcium, potassium and other minerals. The Baptismal Church of John the Baptist was built near the holy spring.
  • Bird Harbor Nature Park. It is one of two aquatic nature parks in the world (the second is located in New York) and the only one in Russia that is located within a large city. The total area of the natural park, together with lakes and reservoirs, is about 113 hectares. More than 100 species of birds have been registered in the nature protection area. Of these, 26 species are listed in the Red Books of the Russian Federation and the Omsk region. The ecological and tourist trail "In the footsteps of birds" operates on the territory of the natural park. The participants of the tour will be able to climb to the observation deck of the 12-meter lighthouse and visit a small museum, find out how and why the Bird Harbor became a natural park, from which countries exotic birds come here and why, as well as which birds listed in the Red Book live in the park. Due to its accessibility, the park serves as an indispensable facility for environmental education of the younger generation and is one of the most interesting sightseeing sites in Omsk and the region.
