A launch meeting on the implementation of the national Labor Productivity project was held at the Omsk stud farm
The opening meeting at the Omsk Stud Farm JSC was held by employees of the Regional Center for Competence in the field of labor productivity. The introduction of lean manufacturing tools and process efficiency improvement will take place on the "Repair of agricultural machinery" stream.
The company specializes in breeding high-class horses of the Orel and Russian trotting breeds, additional types of its activities are the cultivation of crops and other types of animal husbandry: cattle breeding, pig breeding, beekeeping.
The launch meeting was attended by the General Director of the enterprise, members of the working group, production staff and experts of the RCC. Andrey Piyanzov, CEO of the company, spoke about the main goals and objectives facing the company within the framework of the national project, and also noted the importance of the project results for each employee. The company plans to identify and eliminate losses, reduce process time, work-in-progress, and increase production. Upon completion of the national project implementation stage, with the support of RCC specialists, implement and scale the experience gained to other production sites.
The RCC experts presented the national project "Labor Productivity" and the best practices of the participating enterprises to the working group.
It should be noted that at the moment the stud farm is at the first stage of the project implementation - the list of activities, goals and objectives is being coordinated. The company completed the "preparation stage", which included the diagnosis of the company's production activities, the selection of a pilot stream, the formation of a working group and its training in the basics of lean manufacturing and flow optimization.
Within six months, the experts of the RCC and the staff of the Omsk Plant will have to actively work on the development and implementation of improvement measures. The services of the Omsk Region RCC for enterprises participating in the national project "Labor Productivity" are provided free of charge.
