It is planned to implement more than a hundred investment projects in the field of agriculture in the Omsk region.

The total amount of investments will be 23,8 billion rubles.

The results of the implementation of investment projects in the agro-industrial complex were discussed 27 July at a meeting of the Council of heads of municipalities under the Governor of the Omsk region. The First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government held a meeting. Valery Boyko.

The agro-industrial complex development program approved last year included 115 projects that are expected to be implemented in 27 districts of the region. The total amount of funding will be 23,8 billion rubles. The main volume of investments - 15,1 billion rubles are planned in the field of animal husbandry - 68 projects. In particular, it is planned to build a dairy farm on 1800 cows in Maryanovsky district, modernization of production in JSC «Omsk bacon» in the Omsk region, the construction of a livestock complex on 1000 heads of cows in JSC «Tsvetnopolye of the Azov German National District, a dairy complex with free-range cow husbandry 600 heads in the Poltava region.

The program also provides for the implementation of 16 projects in crop production with investments in 1,6 billion rubles. Among the major projects, the construction of an egg and potato storage facility should be highlighted. 25 thousands of tons in the Omsk region, reconstruction of the irrigation system on the square 300 ha in Novovarshavsky district, restoration of the irrigation system in the area 2100 ha in the Omsk region.

In the field of food production, the Program includes 31 a project with a total investment of about 7,1 billion rubles.

As it was noted, decisions were made on postponing the deadlines for their implementation for five investment projects, and some projects were suspended due to financing problems. According to Valery Boyko, everything must be done to help farmers implement key investment projects and put their plans into practice.
