Annual Marketplace Conference to be held in Omsk
On March 29, 2022, the second conference on electronic trading platforms "Marketplace Day" will be held at the site of the regional Congress Hall. Representatives of major online trading platforms, government agencies and businesses will discuss trends in the e-commerce market, talk about successful practices and share effective strategies for entering marketplaces.
The conference is organized by the Omsk Region Export Support Center and the My Business Center with the assistance of the Ministry of Economy of the region. The project is carried out within the framework of the implementation of the national projects "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative" and "International cooperation and export".
Participation in the conference is free of charge, pre-registration is required. The organizers invite representatives of small and medium-sized businesses who are actively working or planning to enter electronic trading platforms with their products.
"Today, the marketplace format is one of the most relevant in the global online commerce. Entrepreneurs who are planning to enter electronic trading platforms have accumulated a lot of questions, so the Conference will be useful for both representatives of small, medium and large businesses, sellers, marketers and brand managers of brands, as well as current managers of marketplaces. We are confident that holding a Conference with the participation of top players in the e-commerce market will have a positive impact on the development of online commerce in Omsk enterprises. The event will be held in two formats: offline and online - via a broadcast on the YouTube channel," said Svetlana Utyuganova, head of the Omsk Region Export Support Center.
It should be noted that the Export Support Center will provide Omsk exporters with a range of necessary services and support measures for the effective launch of products on the e-commerce markets - payment of subscription fees and services of the service company operator for the management of the point of presence, marketing support, as well as registration costs.
So, the business program of the Conference will open with an overview of electronic trading platforms from a representative of the Russian Export Center, then the organizers have prepared a series of presentations about online giants: Alibaba, Tmall, JD and Ebay. Top managers and business owners who successfully sell products on trading platforms will share practical cases of online trading and effective marketing tactics. The conference will also focus on the export of goods and services through B2B marketplaces. The program will conclude with a question-and-answer plenary session with the head of the Center on the topic "Support for exporters to access electronic trading platforms with the Omsk Region Export Support Center."
The conference will be held at: ul. 70 let Oktyabrya, 25, building 2 (regional Congress Hall). The online broadcast will be held on the YouTube channel of the My Business Center.
