From July 25 to July 31, more than 150,000 visitors visited the AgroOmsk-2022 fair in the park On Korolev, 350 Omsk companies presented their products, and more than 3,000 specialists took part in the business program. The central theme of the AgroOmsk-2022 trade fair this year was import substitution in the agro-industrial complex of the region.
"At the AgroOmsk-2022 trade fair, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region signed 4 agreements. Now the companies Gomselmash (Republic of Belarus) and Pegasus-Agro (Samara region) will deal with the issues of technical modernization of the agro-industrial complex in the Omsk region. Omsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin and Omsk Scientific Research Institute of Instrument Engineering will begin conducting research and development of civilian products and import substitution of high-tech products for the bakery industry. Together with the enterprise Soyuz-Agro, Omsk State Agrarian University will consider the areas of automation of technological and business processes in meat and dairy farming. An important moment was the signing of a memorandum with Gazpromneft - Regional Sales on cooperation in monitoring fuel quality for farmers in the Omsk region," Nikolai Drofa, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region, shared the results of the work at the exhibition.
The business program of the exhibition was attended by heads of agribusiness departments of municipal districts, heads of farms, agronomists of districts and agricultural organizations in order to see new developments, learn about achievements, share and learn from the experience of colleagues. The agrarians visited experimental fields, demonstrated the work of agricultural machinery, and inspected the exhibition exposition.
More than 350 companies presented agricultural machinery and modern equipment, scientific developments and innovations in the field of crop production, animal husbandry and poultry farming, as well as a wide range of services in the agro-industrial complex at the fair. A delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan also took part in AgroOmsk-2022. Business negotiations and visits to agricultural enterprises of the Omsk region took place. It should be noted that farmers presented about 25 novelties of agricultural machinery and signed more than 95 supply contracts.
"For residents of Omsk and guests of Omsk, the organizers have prepared a rich creative program, which was attended by folk art groups of the Omsk region. The sites "Agricultural machinery" and "Animal husbandry" became an interesting entertainment for visitors. Adults and children could see huge machines for sowing, protecting, watering and harvesting grain and other crops, as well as get acquainted with the numerous animals represented at the exhibition. More than 30 farms in the Omsk region demonstrated breeding herds of dairy and meat cattle, horse breeding and poultry farming. The enterprises of the food and processing industry of the region held daily tastings and sales of their products. At the fair, visitors could purchase meat, dairy, fish, bakery, confectionery, honey from the 2022 harvest and processed products, products from Omsk artisans, seedlings, flowers and seeds from gardeners, as well as interior products for the garden and vegetable garden," said the Director General of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
