Omsk confectionery factory employees study key methods of lean production
As part of the implementation of the national project "Labor Productivity", employees of the confectionery factory "Sladunitsa" are undergoing a series of trainings on the second module of training in lean manufacturing tools. The classes are conducted by a certified trainer, an expert from the Regional Competence Center (RCC).
It should be recalled that the RCC provides targeted assistance to enterprises participating in the national project, helps large and medium-sized companies to introduce technologies and tools of lean manufacturing. With the help of RCC specialists, it is possible to increase production several times without spending on new equipment, optimize production processes, minimize all types of losses and increase the company's revenue.
"The introduction of lean manufacturing tools will allow Omsk enterprises to reduce production costs and increase labor productivity, which affects the competitiveness of companies. Training activities help to eliminate unnecessary movements and other losses, making it more comfortable to work. The participants of the project's working groups will continue to consolidate their knowledge and skills from the past trainings in practice as part of pilot flow activities," the RCC noted.
Today, at the site of the regional Congress Hall, the Sladunitsa working group studied such topics as: SMED - fast changeover and OEE - analysis of the overall efficiency of equipment – by the end of the week, employees will gain knowledge on autonomous equipment maintenance and standardized operation.
The company's employees noted the relevance of lean manufacturing methods and tools for their workflow. The rapid changeover training clearly showed how you can reduce time by pre-training and at the same time increase productivity. The training of the company's employees is one of the factors for the successful implementation of the task that the company faces in the national project.
