Ethnic tours are being successfully developed in the Altai Republic for the elderly, large families, and people with disabilities. There is a lot of experience in the Omsk region – this is the financing of start-ups, the allocation of subsidies from the regional budget up to 1 one million rubles with the mandatory participation of the project applicant, monthly subsidies for the maintenance of children in private kindergartens, subsidies for the maintenance of residents in private boarding houses for the elderly and people with disabilities up to 14 thousands of rubles per month and much more.
Svetlana Surmilova presented examples of forms of state support in the Omsk region and the active development of her business in the social sphere. We started by uniting families raising children with Down syndrome, and today, with the support of the regional Government and the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, we have a huge center for the development of all children with disabilities, and we plan to open an educational dormitory in November. They employ not only teachers, but also people with disabilities. A few years ago, a pupil with Down syndrome was hired, this was the second case of employment in Russia with a similar diagnosis.
