On August 27, 2026, the Government of the Omsk Region hosted a meeting of the working group of the Council for Investment and Competition Development with the participation of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency
The event was dedicated to improving the region's performance in the National Rating of the Investment Climate.
The participants discussed the interim results of the implementation of the large-scale lean project "End-to-end Investment Flow".
The focus was on the most critical points of interaction between business and government:
Land relations - Simplification of procedures for the provision of land for lease (both at auction and without them) for large-scale industrial projects;
Construction - Shortening the time for issuing building permits, coordination of urban planning and documentation on the layout of the territory;
Infrastructure - Acceleration of technological connection to water supply networks (OmskVodokanal, Omskoblvodoprovod), electric networks (Omskelectro) and gas distribution systems.
It is worth noting that the Agency's specialists ensure the digitalization of processes.: By October of this year, the possibility of submitting applications through the investor's Personal Account on the Investment Portal will be implemented. According to representatives of the Agency, where the Agency does not have direct executive tasks (for example, in terms of internal regulations of resource supply organizations), it acts as a moderator of the dialogue, ensuring that the interests of the investor are respected at all stages.
