78 export contracts were concluded with the assistance of the regional Export Support Center
Omsk small and medium-sized enterprises have signed export contracts for the amount of 9,4 millions of US dollars.
In the regions of Russia, Export Support Centers provide comprehensive assistance to small and medium-sized businesses in the field of foreign economic activity. In the Omsk region, such a structure operates on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency.
«The Export Support Center provides assistance to export-oriented enterprises in finding sales markets by conducting marketing research, business missions, organizing the participation of Omsk companies in foreign exhibitions, as well as legal assistance in the examination of foreign economic contracts.», - explains the General Director of the Agency Evgeny Kovtun.
According to the results of the Center's work in 2017 year Omsk small and medium-sized companies concluded 78 export contracts worth about 9,4 millions of US dollars. Omsk enterprises have signed contracts and established cooperation as a result of business visits organized by the Center. – These are business missions to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan and Finland, visits to the Omsk region by delegations from Kyrgyzstan, China, Kazakhstan and Iran, as well as following the results of the conference on foreign economic activity. It should be noted that the companies have reached agreements and signed export contracts based on the results of participation in international exhibition events in Belarus, China, Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
The enterprises exported musical and electrical equipment, building materials, food products, industrial oils and lubricants, panel equipment and products of the woodworking industry.
It should be noted that at the moment the consolidated register of exporters, which is presented on the website of the Export Support Center, includes information about 200 export-oriented enterprises of the Omsk region in Russian and English.
