Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency continues cooperation with Russian Railways

Last week, a "Customer Day" was held with the participation of representatives of government authorities, business development and support institutions, as well as organizations of various forms of ownership using railway transport services. During the meeting, the effectiveness of cargo transportation was assessed, and plans for the future were discussed.

The event was organized by the Agency for Branded Transport Services (hereinafter – OAFTO). Ilya Kulakov, Head of the Project Planning and Support Department of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, took part in the event.

Similar "Customer Days" are held by Russian Railways on a regular basis. They allow partners to find out relevant information related to freight transportation, and for railwaymen to receive effective feedback and improve the quality of transport services.

"Russian Railways is constantly developing: it is improving the reliability of the railway facilities, increasing cargo turnover within the borders of the highway, and introducing new digital services for both passengers and shippers. With the strengthening of Russia's foreign trade relations with the countries of the East, mutual trade is also increasing. Against this background, the role of large infrastructure projects in the transport and logistics sectors is actively increasing. Their implementation not only helps to increase cargo flows, but also stimulates the socio-economic development of the Omsk region, activates the labor market," Ilya Kulakov said.
