Omsk residents were able to purchase environmentally friendly products from 22 agricultural producers in the Omsk region at the Siberian Agro-Industrial Exhibition and Fair.
On November 23, a regional holiday was held in a solemn atmosphere – the Day of Agriculture and Processing Industry, the first part of which took place in the Regional Congress Hall, where, according to tradition, the best farmers of the Omsk region were honored, who achieved high production performance in all sectors of agriculture - animal husbandry, crop production and processing of agricultural products.
Near the building there are rows of 22 agricultural producers from the districts of the region, where residents of Omsk and guests of our city were able to buy environmentally friendly meat, dairy, bakery and honey products. 17 units of the latest agricultural machinery of Russian and foreign production were also presented.
And in the Congress Hall itself, one could get acquainted with the scientific developments of the Omsk State Agrarian University, the Agricultural Research Center, Agro-Feed LLC, Titan-Agro, the Center for Advanced Agriculture and other organizations. The exhibition demonstrated technologies for growing, collecting and storing agricultural products, plant protection products, livestock projects, veterinary and zootechnical equipment, and tools. Feed production and forage harvesting, services of leasing companies and agricultural insurance were presented at the stands.
The visitors also had the opportunity to get acquainted with and taste dairy, meat and bakery products from the processing enterprises of Omsk Bacon JSC, VNIMI-Siberia LLC, Center for Nutritional Mixtures, Luzinskaya Krynochka, and Tyukalinsky Bread.
Valery Boyko, First Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government, opened the solemn event and congratulated Valery Burkov on behalf of the regional Government and the head of the region, who thanked all farmers for their daily, painstaking work and professionalism.
