Alexander Burkov will lead the Omsk Region delegation at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi.

On February 15-16, 2018, the Russian Investment Forum will be held at the Main Media Center of the Olympic Park in Sochi under the leadership of Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation. The participants of the upcoming Forum will discuss opportunities for the development of Russian regions and risks that may slow down development.

A delegation from the Omsk Region has been formed to participate in the Forum, which will be headed by Acting Governor Alexander Burkov. A number of cooperation agreements are expected to be signed at the Forum between the Government of the Omsk Region and the heads of federal structures in the field of entrepreneurship development, increasing investment attractiveness and increasing export potential.

The plenary session and thematic sections will discuss mechanisms for increasing investment attractiveness, issues of export activities in the development strategy of the agro-industrial complex of the region, and the development of small and medium-sized businesses. In general, the Forum will allow discussing the prospects for interregional cooperation, as well as issues of interaction with federal organizations in order to increase their attractiveness for doing business.
