ASI and the regions discussed the updated methodology and the formation of the National Investment Climate Rating 2026 years

General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency Svetlana Bazhenova participated in the meeting of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives on the formation of the National Rating of the investment Climate 2026 years.

It should be noted that the meeting was attended by 250 The man from 85 regions of the Russian Federation: heads of regional investment teams – Chairmen of governments, vice-governors, ministers of economic development and representatives of relevant departments of regional authorities.

Rating Structure in 2026 year expanded with 110 before 125 indicators.

Key changes in the Rating methodology:

·                     in the direction «Infrastructure, technology, and communications» It appeared 6 new rating indicators that characterize the availability of financial and innovation infrastructure for businesses;

·                     clarifications have been made for model objects in the following directions «Realty» and «Engineering networks and communications»;

·                     among the rating indicators of the direction «Business protection» an assessment of the level of application of a risk-based approach in the framework of control and supervisory activities is included.;

·                     This year, for the first time, the Agency will create a non-rating index reflecting the effectiveness of involving cultural heritage sites in economic turnover, based on 15 indicators.

The business survey campaign will begin on a full scale 2 March, and the results of the Rating will traditionally be presented at #SPIEF2026.
