It became known that more than a dozen enterprises from Armenia and Georgia will come to Omsk for a Conference on foreign economic activity in order to establish partnerships with local manufacturers. The Conference will be held at the regional Expocenter from December 8-9.
Earlier, the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Agency for Development and Investment, reported on the extensive export opportunities of our companies in the markets of these countries following the results of business missions of Omsk enterprises to Armenia and Georgia.
Businessmen from Armenia and Georgia, who will participate in the conference, are interested in cooperation with Omsk enterprises in various areas. So, they are looking for exporters of food products (flour, groceries, canned food, peas, corn, cereals, vegetable oils), household chemicals, building materials, dairy producers, as well as trading companies.
Negotiations between Omsk and foreign companies will be held in the format of a "contact exchange", which is scheduled for two days of the Conference within the framework of the exhibition "Export Potential of Russian Regions".
In addition, as previously reported by the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, enterprises from Kazakhstan, Belarus, China and Bulgaria will participate in the Conference and the contact exchange.

This year's Conference on Foreign Economic Activity will be held in Omsk at the Regional Expocenter. It is organized by the Regional Agency for Development and Investment in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of the region with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. Previously, the Conference was held in Kaluga, Vologda and Ulyanovsk.
The conference traditionally includes a business program and an exhibition "Export potential of Russian regions".
About 500 nonresident and foreign participants will gather for the annual large-scale event. Among them: representatives of government authorities, infrastructure organizations of Russian regions, the business community, as well as foreign businesses.
At the moment, companies from the Altai and Stavropol territories, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Rostov, Tomsk, Astrakhan and Chelyabinsk regions have announced themselves as participants of the Conference.
