The business incubator opened the IX season of "Points of growth"
On November 20, Omsk Business Incubator officially opened the 9th season of the Youth Business Incubator project "Point of Growth" in the Congress Hall.
This season, more than 400 schoolchildren from the city of Omsk and 9 municipal districts of the Omsk region arrived at the opening.
Viktor Sobolev, Director of the Omsk Regional Business Incubator, congratulated everyone on this important event. He introduced the guests and participants of the event.
The Minister of Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Omsk Region delivered a welcoming speech and congratulations. Dmitry Krikoryants and Deputy Minister of Economy of the Omsk Region Kushner Denis Vladimirovich.
Denis Vladimirovich stressed that the implementation of this social project in the Omsk region is unique, and it became possible largely due to the active support of the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region and the project partners.
- With the help of games, children can be easily attracted and taught, - the trainers of our project claim. - And practice shows that information presented to children in a ready–made form is absorbed by 50-60%, and what they are directly involved in is absorbed by 90%. Interactive methods of presenting information help to form a certain set of emotions and knowledge in children, to awaken their desire for self-education, the realization of their ideas, the development of initiatives, and allow them to actively use their creative potential.
As part of the opening ceremony, a business game was held aimed at introducing the types of entrepreneurial activities. In this way, the participants were able to get acquainted with social entrepreneurship, manufacturing and trade, innovative creativity, the service sector and agriculture. At the Social Entrepreneurship station, the participants immersed themselves in the field of specialties that are found in social entrepreneurship and talked about the importance of this type of entrepreneurial activity. The participants were able to get acquainted with production and trade through a business game where they built and sold houses. The winners of this station were awarded with additional gifts from the project partner, Wimm-Bill-Dann.
