Cosmos Omsk Hotel became the first completed project in the portfolio of hotel projects Tourism.RF
The Ministry of Construction of Russia has published an infographic on the results of the work of the Corporation Tourism.RF. The investment project is being supported by the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
Recall that JSC "Corporation Tourism.Russian Federation" was established on December 18, 2020 on behalf of Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, to develop domestic and inbound tourism.
At the moment, Tourism is in the portfolio of hotel projects.Russia's first completed project was the Cosmos Omsk Hotel complex. The four-star hotel, which opened on November 1 this year, is located on the banks of the Irtysh River. It has 190 rooms of various categories, a restaurant with 188 seats, an outdoor rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the river and the city, a fitness room, a conference space with meeting rooms and a hall for 320 participants.
It should be noted that the investment project for the construction of the Cosmos Omsk Hotel is being supported by specialists from the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency. Experts helped with solving infrastructure issues. The opening of the hotel has created more than 100 new jobs. The investor was AFK Sistema. The investment project was implemented within the framework of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry".
"It is symbolic that a hotel called Cosmos has appeared in Omsk, one of the centers of the space industry. The opening of a new facility of the Russian hotel chain is a good sign confirming that Omsk is growing, developing and looking to the future. It is important for us that our region attracts tourists, the business community, and is a venue for major events. With a modern hotel infrastructure, the Omsk region will become a venue for a large number of cultural and sporting events of national and international scale," said Vitaly Khotsenko, Governor of the Omsk Region, at the opening of the hotel.
