The delegation of the Omsk region is working in the Republic of Uzbekistan

A working trip of the Omsk Region delegation to the Republic of Uzbekistan has started today. The team was led by the governor of the region Vitaly Khotsenko. As part of the delegation — Svetlana Bazhenova, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.

During the visit, a meeting was held with khokim of the Fergana region Khairullo Khayitbayevich Bozarov.

The parties noted that relations between Russia and Uzbekistan are on the rise.ёiu and continue to actively develop. Uzbekistan is one of the most important trade partners for the Omsk region.ёtrade turnover and exports are showing steady growth.

At the business meeting, the parties discussed a number of promising investment projects. The initiatives were of particular interest: creation of a meat-related livestock farm, the development of potato production with the subsequent supply of Omsk products to the Uzbek market.
