The delegation of the Chinese city of Tianjin visited the Omsk region

The delegation of the city of Tianjin visited enterprises "Sladonezh" and "Omsk Pasta Factory", which are active in the Chinese market. It should be noted that the products of Omsk companies are represented in the Omsk Trading House in Manchuria. In addition, representatives of the delegation attended the opening of the Russian-Chinese Youth Business Incubator.

Mr. Liu Zhiyong, Head of the Department for External Relations, and representatives of Chinese business discussed opportunities for further cooperation with Rasim Galyamov, Minister of Economy of the Omsk Region.

Earlier, the regional Ministry of Economy developed a concept for the development of trade and economic relations with China, which was agreed upon by the head of the region, Alexander Burkov. Its essence is to expand the presence of Omsk products in the Chinese market, as well as to attract Chinese investments to the region.

Let me express my gratitude once again for responding to our invitation and taking the time to meet with the delegation of the Omsk region at 19-th International Exhibition of Food and Specialized Equipment "SIAL China 2018" in Shanghai in May of this year. As part of the negotiations, we managed to identify mutually beneficial areas of joint cooperation. Today's meeting is a continuation of the work that has already begun, and I am sure that it will be fruitful.", − I addressed the representatives of the Chinese delegation Rasim Galyamoв.

The Minister of Economy of the Omsk region noted that China is one of the key foreign trade partners of the Omsk region, and occupies 2 place among the countries – the region's trading partners.

According to Rasim Galyamov, one of the key projects of bilateral cooperation between the Omsk region and China – creation of a network of trading houses of Omsk producers in the People's Republic of China.

"The first such trading house was opened in Manchuria in July. 2017 years. The project involves 30 Omsk commodity producers. Back to the beginning 2018 The volume of sales of Omsk-made products exceeded 100 millions of rubles. In the first half of this year, products were shipped to 59 millions of rubles. Omsk products are actively sold in the cities and provinces of northern China. Given the successful experience of the Omsk Trading House in Manchuria, the possibility of opening similar trading houses in other cities of China is being considered. I ask you to support the project of creating a Trading house of Omsk manufacturers in the city of Tianjin.", − I addressed the Deputy Chairman of the Trade Committee, Mr. Liu Zhiyong Rasim Galyamov.

Mr. Liu Zhiyong noted that the Chinese partners are attracted by the position of the regional leadership, clearly formulated proposals that undoubtedly arouse interest. "Tientsin − a major industrial center of China, which is located in the city of Tianjin in terms of industrial production. The Omsk region has attractive conditions for starting a business. I think our relations will actively develop under the leadership of such a minister., − The Deputy Chairman of the Trade Committee of the city of Tianjin, Mr. Liu Zhiyong. – Our seaport, located on the west coast of the Bohai Bay, is the largest in China and one of the ten largest ports in the world. It is through this port that the route from the sea to Beijing runs.".

Upon returning, the Chinese side plans to continue negotiations with enterprises of the city of Tianjin to form a proposal for cooperation with the Omsk region.
