The delegation of the People's Republic of China became interested in the investment projects of the Omsk region

On April 11, a meeting of the business delegation of the People's Republic of China with representatives of the executive authorities of the Omsk region took place in the regional Congress Hall.

The delegation of the People's Republic of China included representatives of SEPCO1 Corporation and POWERCHINA Corporation.

It should be noted that SEPCO1 Corporation is one of the leading enterprises in the world that is able to carry out the construction of thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, wind farms, GTPPs, biomass power plants, photovoltaic power plants, power transmission and transformation facilities through EPC general contracting. The company's activities cover many industries such as electrical engineering, design consulting, infrastructure, repair, operation and maintenance of power plants, commissioning, plant development, trade, logistics.

The Minister of Economy of the Omsk Region Rasim Galyamov delivered a welcoming speech. During the meeting, representatives of the Regional Agency for Development and Investment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region and the Ministry of Industry, Transport and Innovative Technologies made presentations and presentation materials on investment projects in the Omsk region.

During the meeting, Mr. Yuan Ming, CEO for International Affairs of SEPCO1 Corporation, spoke about the company's activities, potential, resources, investments and financing. "Since its establishment, our company has expanded its construction activities throughout the country (China), in more than 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, created more than 500 electrical installations for various power plants with a total installed capacity of over 105556 MW, installed China's first generator sets with a capacity from 50 MW to 1000 MW. In 1997, the company became the first company to expand the market abroad, taking on contracts for the construction of electric facilities in India, Brazil, Pakistan, Mongolia, East Timor, Kazakhstan, Ecuador," said Mr. Yuan Ming.

For example, Andrey Molchanov, director of the Omsk Region government agency "Management of the Customer for the Construction of Transport facilities and hydraulic Structures", presented projects that require further construction work and financing. The report outlined several projects: the construction of the Krasnogorsk hydroelectric power plant on the Irtysh River, the concept of high-speed transport development in Omsk, and the construction of the Omsk-Fedorovka airport.

Konstantin Tsyplenkov, Head of the Processing and Commodity Market Department of the Livestock, Small Business, Processing and Commodity Market Development Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region, also spoke about the successes and achievements in the field of agriculture and food of the Omsk region, raised issues of mutual supplies and voiced proposals for the implementation of joint investment projects in the Omsk region. Construction of elevators, organization of flax processing plants, joint ventures for the production of agricultural machinery, food production, and processing of oilseeds.

Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, spoke about the investment projects that are being supported by the Agency.

"The Agency supports projects at various stages of implementation. In addition, specialists independently develop concepts of investment projects with a prospect of implementation in the Omsk region. Work is also underway to offer potential investors sites for the implementation of investment projects," said Evgeny Kovtun.

It should be noted that the investment projects presented by Evgeny Kovtun aroused the interest of the Chinese delegation. The presentation featured projects such as the construction of a plant for the production of technical ceramics, an osb-plate production plant in the Tarsky district of the Omsk region, the creation of a mining and processing complex for the extraction and processing of titanium-zirconium ores, the creation of a modern, multifunctional technological complex, whose activities are aimed at supporting and developing small and medium-sized forms of entrepreneurship. agricultural activities in Troitsk settlement, as well as the construction of an elevator with a capacity of 50,000 tons and a multifunctional vegetable processing center.

China's largest energy corporation, PowerChina, also visited the production and infrastructure facilities of the Titan Group of Companies during the day. Following the visit, a four-party memorandum of cooperation on the construction of facilities in the Omsk region will be signed.

During the business meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region, the Regional Agency for Development and Investment, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Industry, Transport and Innovative Technologies and representatives of the business delegation of the People's Republic of China reached certain agreements, as well as further discussion of investment projects on issues of interest to them.
