The delegation of the Omsk region started work at the exhibition in Shanghai

Ten Omsk manufacturers have started work at the international exhibition SIAL China 2018 in Shanghai.

It should be recalled that the official and business circles of the Omsk region went to the People's Republic of China to establish cooperation and market Omsk products to the Chinese market. The delegation is headed by Valery Boyko, First Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government. The delegation includes Minister of Economy Rasim Galyamov and Minister of Agriculture and Food Maxim Chekusov.

Today, 16 May, the International Exhibition started its work SIAL China 2018, where 10 Omsk manufacturers present the region's potential in the food industry with a collective stand as part of the Russian exposition. In particular, we are talking about products such as confectionery and pasta, ice cream, dairy, snack and alcoholic beverages, as well as grain and flour-milling products.

At the opening ceremony of the Russian exposition, Valery Boyko, First Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government, delivered a welcoming speech, noting that relations between Russia and the People's Republic of China are growing stronger every day.

"We highly appreciate it. China has traditionally been one of the Omsk Region's main partners. In terms of foreign trade turnover, China is currently in second place among 87 countries with which we have established cooperation. The Omsk region produces 3,5 million tons of grain, including 2,5 million tons of wheat. The Chinese partners mark Omsk wheat as ideal for cooking Chinese noodles. We are ready to export one million tons of wheat this year.", − He greeted those present Valery Boyko.

By the way, the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk region stressed that the region occupies a leading position in Siberia in the production of grain, potatoes, vegetables, meat, milk, the region is in the TOP-5 regions of Russia for the production of cheeses and cheese products, canned condensed milk.

"We plan to create a network of trading houses in the Omsk region in China. Work in this direction – one of our goals at the exhibition. I invite everyone present to visit the stand of the Omsk region.", − declared Valery Boyko.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government wished everyone productive work, useful contacts and contracts.
