Five Omsk manufacturers have started work at the Russian-Mongolian Initiative 2018 exhibition, which opened in Ulaanbaatar.
The collective stand of the Omsk region, prepared by the Export Support Center operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency, allowed to get acquainted with the achievements of the Omsk participating companies. The stand's exposition features products from Russian agricultural machinery and consumer goods.
On the first day of its work, it was visited by Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Igor Levitin, representative of the President of Russia, and high-ranking officials of Mongolia: Khaltmagiin Battulga, President, Ulziisaykhany Enkhtuvshin, Deputy Prime Minister, Batzhargalyn Batzorig, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry.
- The sustainable development of traditional friendly relations with Russia is the main priority of our state's foreign policy. At the present stage, the main task is to enrich bilateral relations with economic content," Khaltmaagiin Battulga emphasized, addressing the forum participants at the opening ceremony.
During the day, Omsk companies held talks with more than 60 representatives of the Mongolian business. The harvesters, seeders and trailers of Omskagrotehservice LLC aroused particular interest among agricultural producers, farmers and trading companies in Ulaanbaatar.
Representatives of the Omsk enterprise Vesely Melnik held talks with ten companies engaged in the trade and production of confectionery products, including the large company Uguuj-Sweet & Bisquits, which is interested in supplying Omsk-made flour.
The exposition of the Omsk company "Basis" was in no less demand. The Stepnyak cultivator, displayed next to the stand of the Omsk region, has already been successfully supplied to Mongolian farms.
Agroholding Sibir LLC and Agroreserv held more than 45 negotiations with feed manufacturers and trading companies. The participants of the event were interested in Omsk barley, millet and forage products.
"Participation in the exhibition will allow entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized businesses in Omsk and the Omsk region to explore Mongolia's target market, negotiate with potential partners, and conclude export contracts," said the Deputy head of the Omsk Region Export Support Center.Anna Kolokolova.
