Omsk region road workers increased production due to the national project "Labor Productivity"

The successful completion of the first stage of the national project "Labor Productivity" was noted by the state enterprise "Tavrichesky DRSU", the backbone enterprise of the Omsk region for the repair of highways and motorways. The economic effect of the national project exceeded 1 million rubles, and the time for approving an application for the purchase of materials was reduced by 22%.

Within six months, with the expert support of the Regional Competence Center of the Omsk Region (RCC), the company's working group optimized office processes - the purchase of materials. This procedure accounts for up to 70% of all expenses of the enterprise, therefore optimization of procurement management proved to be critically important.

Kirill Samodinsky, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Omsk Region, experts from the RCC, representatives of the administration of the Tavrichesky Municipal District, senior staff and members of the company's working group attended the summing up.

The Deputy Minister thanked the management and staff of the Tavrichesky DRSU for their effective work and involvement in the project, and also presented letters of thanks to the active representatives of the working group on the implementation of the national project "Labor Productivity".

RCC experts helped the company's employees master the skills of lean manufacturing and taught them how to implement new tools for them in office processes. Thus, the project's working group conducted diagnostics of the pilot flow, identified problems and drew up a plan to achieve goals, standardized work was carried out, standards for filling out procurement applications were developed, effective workplaces were created according to the principles of 5C and infocenter, internal trainers were certified, and employees completed the "Office Process Factory" training.

"The National Labor Productivity Project is becoming an important tool for the development of enterprises in the region. The company's team and targeted support from the Regional Competence Center of the Omsk Region played an important role in achieving key indicators in the implementation of the national project. The national project helps enterprises to produce more products and increase profits with the same material and human resources," said Alexander Kuzubov, Director of the Tavrichesky DRSU.

Vadim Shulgat, the head of the RCC project, stressed that all key indicators have been achieved: process time has decreased by 18%, production has increased by 20%, and stocks in the stream have decreased by 13%. For another 2.5 years, the Tavrichesky DRSU will continue to implement the national project independently, and the RCC experts are always ready to provide qualified assistance.
