Experts from the Regional Competence Center share their knowledge at the "Process Factory"

This week, specialists from two Omsk companies, SIVIK and Omsk RTS, turned into employees of a gas transmission company for three working shifts. While assembling products, building assembly sites, setting up the work of the technical control department and logistics, representatives of Omsk business studied lean manufacturing tools - this is how the Process Factory training takes place.

Let us remind you that the "Process Factory" is a training production site where in a short time you can see how the use of lean manufacturing tools affects the company's activities and gain real-world experience in their use. The training is useful for both business leaders and employees, including project team members. Training for participants of the national project "Labor Productivity" takes place free of charge with the help of certified trainers from the Regional Competence Center (RCC).

"Of course, the Process Factory is a necessary and important tool for effective familiarization with lean manufacturing tools. Training sessions at the Production Factory and the Office Process Factory perform several tasks: they demonstrate to participants how the use of lean manufacturing methods helps to improve processes, help them understand reserves and opportunities for further development and assess the impact of operational activities on financial results," said Maxim Shulgat, head of the RCC.

Employees of Omsk enterprises noted that participation in the training allowed them to take a different look at the usual production process and literally see the losses and shortcomings in their work. During the training, the team unites like never before and enthusiastically uses the acquired knowledge to improve production processes in the future.

The Omsk Region joined the national Labor Productivity project, initiated at the federal level by Russian President Vladimir Putin, in 2020. To date, 69 enterprises of the region are participating in it. In order to join the national project, enterprises need to study its criteria and register on the productivity website.RF
