On October 9, a seminar "Documentation support for export activities" was held in the regional Congress Hall as part of the seminar program of the Export School of the Russian Export Center, which is held for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the region free of charge. The seminar was organized by the Omsk Region Export Support Center, operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency.
The seminar was attended by representatives of 12 companies representing various fields of activity: food, electrical engineering, chemical and woodworking industries.
The seminar was held using interactive teaching methods. The entrepreneurs learned about the documentation support of the export control procedure, the norms of currency legislation, situations of additional currency or customs expertise, and the procedure for processing currency control documents.
"During the seminar, Omsk businessmen reviewed the list of documents that an entrepreneur needs to prepare at different stages of an export project, discussed an example of product identification from the export control list and analyzed the basics of currency legislation," the Omsk Region Export Support Center said.
The seminar participants successfully completed the final testing and received certificates from students of the course "Documentation support for export activities" at the REC Export School.
