A loan agreement in the amount of 200 million rubles has been signed between the Industrial Development Fund (EDF) and Planeta-Center LLC. With these funds received on preferential terms, the Omsk company plans to double the production of flexible packaging, as well as organize import-substituting production of MDO films and "breathing" films unique to Russia with a volume of at least 6,500 tons per year.
"Breathable films" are used in the manufacture of sanitary products (diapers, patches) and in the construction industry as a membrane material. The demand for the material from Russian manufacturers is at least 450 tons per month, in Kazakhstan, where Planeta-Center plans to export products - 150 tons per month. Currently, "breathing" film is being imported to Russia from abroad. We also do not produce MDO film, which is used in the packaging of cereals, pasta, frozen foods, as well as for labels on plastic bottles. According to experts, the capacity of the Russian market for such films is at least 5,000 tons per month.
The import substitution direction will allow Omsk to produce modern packaging for various industries, which has increased strength characteristics with a lower material thickness. The project cost is 563.8 million rubles, of which 200 million rubles will be provided by the Federal Reserve Fund in the form of a concessional loan under the terms of the Development Projects program.
This is the second Omsk Region project that has received approval and financial support from the Industrial Development Fund. In December 2016, the Titan Group project received a preferential "loan" in the amount of 300 million rubles.
