Foreigners are interested in Omsk dumplings, mushrooms and chips
Products produced by Omsk companies caused a stir at the 27th International Food Exhibition WorldFood Moscow.
The Omsk region was represented by seven manufacturers at the exhibition. The collective stand of the region was prepared by the Export Support Center operating on the basis of the regional Development and Investment Agency.
"Participation in the WorldFood Moscow exhibition is a unique opportunity to showcase Omsk products to representatives of wholesale and retail trade from Moscow, regions of Russia, CIS countries and far abroad. The Export Support Center organized the participation of the Omsk business community in this exhibition on preferential terms, which include: rental of exhibition space, registration fee, development of presentation materials for the exhibition participants," said Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
In three days, Omsk residents held more than 100 negotiations with representatives of Russian and foreign companies and achieved certain results. For example, a large distribution company from Uzbekistan became interested in halal products produced by Noble Products LLC. Now the company is waiting for a commercial offer from the Omsk manufacturer, as well as representatives of companies from Kazakhstan and the USA, who were also attracted by Omsk dumplings and dumplings.
Omsk residents also managed to conquer the Italians, who, as you know, appreciate good food. The dried mushrooms produced by Berries of Siberia LLC made a special impression on them. The attractive packaging received special praise.
Representatives of the Serbian distribution company were attracted by berry sublimates, which are also produced by Berries of Siberia LLC. Russian products are considered to be truly exotic there, so they are very interested in cooperation with the Omsk manufacturer.
A Bulgarian trading company engaged in the sale of only natural products has held negotiations on the purchase of fruit chips produced by Omsk LLC "S-Fruit Siberia".
A Chinese trading company with a supermarket chain in China is interested in delicatessen products (red fish) LLC "Constellation". Such a product is not manufactured in China. A Mongolian organization with a supermarket chain in Ulaanbaatar has also become interested in purchasing delicacies and dried products from the Omsk company. The parties agreed to familiarize themselves with the pricing policy and discuss the conditions for further work.
