The governor of the region Vitaly Khotsenko discussed the prospects of investment development in the Odessa region
During a working visit to the Odessa region, the Governor of the Omsk region, Vitaly Khotsenko, held a meeting with the Investment Commissioner of the municipality, First Deputy Head, Chairman of the Committee on Economic Affairs and Property Relations of the Odessa Region Administration, Andrei Gardera.
In his report to the head of the region, the investment commissioner noted that the municipal district has developed an investment development strategy for the Odessa region of the Omsk region until 2027. Since 2021, 79 investment projects in various fields of activity have been implemented in the municipality with a total investment of 1,429.65 million rubles.
In 2025, the investment profile of the district was developed, investment proposals for potential investors were formed.
During the meeting, Andrei Gardeur presented to the Governor two promising investment proposals — "Construction of a dairy and meat livestock complex in the Odessa region of the Omsk region" and "Construction of a poultry farm for the production of chicken meat and eggs in the Odessa region of the Omsk region."
For potential investors, agricultural land plots have already been formed for the implementation of these projects, provided with engineering infrastructure, with an area of 227 hectares and 75 hectares. In addition, the proposals include a feasibility study, an analysis of sales markets and logistics schemes, a marketing plan, information on human resources, production technology, and relevant support measures.
"One of the tasks of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency is to provide maximum assistance to municipalities in attracting investments and creating comfortable business conditions, as well as active interaction with the investment authorities of the districts. Working together will consistently improve the investment climate of the Omsk region, create additional jobs, improve infrastructure and improve the quality of life of the population," said Svetlana Bazhenova, Director General of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
