Governor Vitaly Khotsenko and Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov held a working meeting.
In particular, the issues of ensuring the further functioning of the business support infrastructure, which has proven its effectiveness during the implementation of the national SME project, were considered.
My Business centers have become one of its key elements. Last year alone, more than 10,5 thousand SMEs received specialized services on the basis of the Omsk center.
"The region achieved the indicators of the national project to increase the number of SMEs due to a set of support measures based on the My Business centers. Due to this, the Omsk region is stable in terms of the number of active entrepreneurs, and the number of newly created SMEs is growing every year," said Maxim Reshetnikov.
Entrepreneurs who have taken advantage of the regional infrastructure of industrial parks, technology parks and business parks are also demonstrating qualitative growth. Therefore, the creation and development of parks will continue.
There are more than 65,000 SMEs in the Omsk region. One in six of them applied to the My Business centers for various consulting, educational and financial services.
"We discussed the activities of the Moy Biznes regional centers and regional export support centers and tourism development in the Omsk Region. Another important topic is the application of our region for the creation of several industrial parks and technology parks. This is the first time we have applied for the relevant program of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and we are counting on support," said Vitaly Khotsenko, head of the region.
Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov stressed that the President had instructed to create an additional 100 industrial, techno and business parks by 2030. For this purpose, taking into account the experience of the implementation of the national SME project in 2019-2024, the program parameters have been adjusted.
The Governor sets the task to maximize the use of opportunities and resources provided at the federal level in the interests of developing the economy, entrepreneurship, and investment potential of the territory.
