A two-day session on replication of the Regional Standard for Industrial Growth Staffing has started in Omsk for the subjects of the Siberian Federal District

The first day of the session was held at the regional Congress Hall. Omsk residents share their experience in training highly qualified personnel for industrial enterprises.

The meeting is being held by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the region in cooperation with the Federal Agency for Strategic Initiatives for the Promotion of new projects as part of the instruction of the President of the country on the implementation of the project "Regional standard for staffing industrial growth."

Today, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives is already working with all 85 regions of the Russian Federation on projects related to personnel training and human capital development. As Yulia Hanzhina, head of the Department of Human Resources Support for industrial growth in the Young Professionals direction of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, noted, it was extremely interesting to get to know the Omsk team and consider the training practices that exist.

 The Omsk Region responded to the proposal to bring together representatives of the subjects of the Siberian Federal District to share their experience in this area.

"Today we are discussing tasks and problems, we need to understand which way to move and determine the future rates of all regions in which new personnel need to be trained. Now we are in a state of transformation of the regional standard for staffing the economy, complementing it with new tools," Yulia Hanzhina, head of the Department for Staffing Industrial Growth in the Young Professionals department of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, emphasized in a conversation with the press. – This is due to the implementation of measures on the digital economy and the training program for management personnel in the field of education. Our first such project took place on the site of the Far Eastern Federal University in July, where specialists who practiced the skill of making decisions here and now were trained for 10 days. Today we are talking about these practices. Tools related to the Worldskills movement will also be launched within the standard. We recently returned from Budapest, where Russia took first place in the world championship of working professions. We are currently broadcasting this example and the advanced training centers for the professions of the future, and you can use it. All this is at the heart of the project "Regional standard for staffing industrial growth" announced by the President of the country.

The regional standard will allow for a clear and balanced development of the industrial potential of the Omsk region. In May 2018, the Governor of the region, Alexander Burkov, signed an agreement with the Agency for the Development of the Regional Standard. The Government of the Omsk Region adopted an order and approved a roadmap for both executive authorities interested in this area of activity, as well as for employers' associations and vocational education institutions interested in training and employing personnel.

"Employers in the region were invited to take part in the district session and demonstrate their experience in production. And the first ones who responded were ONPZ–Gazpromneft and Hi-Tech. These Omsk enterprises have serious experience with vocational education institutions, and they are already making an order for specific specialists. Today we are sharing what has already been done. On Friday, on the second working day of the district session, we will visit professional education institutions with our colleagues. There is something to show the Technical University, SibGUFKu, OmGAU. We will also visit school No. 117, which has signed contracts with an institution of vocational education and where there is a continuous cycle of training specialists along the way – school, university, enterprise. A meeting with ASI representatives will also be held tomorrow to discuss the steps that need to be taken to solve the main problem of human resources in the Omsk Region," said Vladimir Kupriyanov, Minister of Labor and Social Development of the Omsk Region.
