In the Omsk region, the volume of financial support in the form of microloans exceeded 80 million rubles.

Last year, the Omsk Microfinance Fund issued microloans to small and medium-sized businesses in the amount of more than 80 million rubles.

"A non-profit organization created by the regional Government to ensure the availability of concessional financing reduced the interest rate twice last year. It was reduced from 10% to 7.75%, and then to 7.5% per annum. Among the recipients of microfinance support last year, most of them were manufacturing enterprises, companies in the service sector and agriculture," the regional Ministry of Economy explains.

In total, over the entire period of its activity, the Fund has issued microloans totaling more than 123 million rubles. The amount of loans ranges from 0.5 to 3 million rubles. Separately, the Omsk Microfinance Fund notes that delinquencies by borrowers are not allowed. The business mainly uses microloan funds to purchase inventory items or fixed assets.

Recall that a program is being implemented in the Omsk region to provide preferential loans for industry. The decision to establish an industrial development fund was made by the head of the region, Alexander Burkov. In his budget message, Alexander Burkov set the task of promptly launching the work of the fund. The new structure was created on the basis of the Omsk Microfinance Fund. Industrial enterprises can receive loans for the development of production on preferential terms under two programs – "Development projects" and "Component parts". The loan amount can range from 20 to 100 million rubles. Loans are provided for a period of up to 5 years at a discounted rate of 1 to 5% per year.

"Currently, within the framework of the Components program, an application for a loan in the amount of 27 million rubles has been registered and is under consideration for the implementation of a project to expand and modernize its own production of LED lamps. After assessing the collateral, a comprehensive examination of the project will be carried out and a decision will be made on the possibility of financing. This year, under the Development Projects program, an application for a loan in the amount of 22 million rubles was registered for the implementation of a project to expand the production of self−tapping screws made of ferrous metal," the Omsk Microfinance Fund notes.
