The winner of the Mom Entrepreneur project has been determined in the Omsk Region

Maria Zakharova, a mother of two children, received a grant for the implementation of a project for the production of natural cosmetics.

The federal educational project to support women's entrepreneurship "Mama Entrepreneur" ended in Omsk on October 26. 30 residents of the region became its participants.

As part of the educational intensive, advanced business coaches told the project participants how to formalize a business idea, use market opportunities, build a business model on what principles, how to work with a target audience, and how to promote their products and services, including using the practices of well-known companies. In addition, the project participants visited Omsk enterprises, whose managers shared their experience in creating and developing a business.

The project, which is being conducted in the Omsk Region for the first time, is being implemented by the Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses and the Committee for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship of the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses OPORA ROSSII. The Amway Charitable Foundation "Responsible for the Future" is a co-organizer and grant-giver. At the federal level, the project is supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.

The organizers of the project in the Omsk region were the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk region, the Public Institution of the city of Omsk "Entrepreneurship Support Center", the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-sized enterprises "SUPPORT of RUSSIA" and the Omsk regional Business Incubator.

On the final day of the project, the participants presented their business ideas at the regional Business incubator. Interest was aroused, for example, by a workshop selling cotton fabrics and sewing products from them, a workshop for making designer toys, the production of natural cosmetics, shoe covers, bags and accessories, jewelry, sewing traditional Russian clothes, creating a website for ordering products based on recipes, organizing a home staff recruitment agency, creating educational platforms, organization of children's rooms at fitness clubs and other projects.

The projects were evaluated by an expert jury, which included representatives of business support infrastructure organizations in the region.

The winner was Maria Zakharova with a project for the production of natural cosmetics. The winner plans to use the grant funds to purchase an apparatus designed to create a homogeneous and physically stable mass of products.

"I live by this project, my family helps me. I plan to use the grant funds to purchase an ultrasonic homogenizer," she explained.Maria Zakharova.

According to Ekaterina Levshina, head of charitable programs at the Amway Charitable Foundation Responsible for the Future, the Omsk Region this year became one of the leaders (2nd place in Russia) in terms of the number of applications for participation in the project.
