According to Omskstat, for 5 months 2017 The industrial production index of the year was 103,2 percent compared to January-May of last year. The growth of industrial production is due to an increase in food production (101,1%), drinks (120,3%), chemicals and chemical products (113,7%), production volumes of computers, electronic and optical products (121,2%), other vehicles and equipment (120,1%).

Pork production increased in food production (by 11,4%), beef, except offal (on 5,3%), sausage products, including baby food products (on 2,2%), vegetable oils (on 6,6%), cheeses, cheese products and cottage cheese (on 8,8%), milk, except raw (on 6,7%) and other products. Manufacturing industries in the Omsk region have been showing steady growth since the beginning of the year (index 103,9).
