Regional investment teams were trained in Moscow according to the program of the Higher School of Public Administration of the Presidential Academy and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia "Managerial skills: development of regional teams". More than 800 representatives of the economic sector from 89 regions of the Russian Federation studied investment proactivity and exchanged best practices.
The Omsk Region team was headed by the Minister of Economic Development Anna Negoduiko. The team included representatives of the region's executive authorities and development institutions, as well as specialists from IDGC of Siberia and Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Omsk resource supply organizations, as well as investment representatives from three municipalities.
"The regional investment standard is the basis for the economic growth of the subjects of the Russian Federation, which needs to be constantly worked on. It is important that local teams understand the nuances of support measures, select them specifically and combine them, because working with investors is primarily the work of the regions. You are the ones who solve 95% of entrepreneurs' issues. The task of the Federation is to work with you in conjunction, systematically develop support tools, and assist in cooperation with banks in the implementation of large, complex investment projects," said Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, in his opening remarks.
The training program is divided into 3 modules. At the end of the first module, the students completed the project work. The other two modules will take place in the fall and summer of this year.
"The training program was rich and relevant, colleagues from the federal authorities shared with us the results of our country's work in 2023, told us about the development vectors in the medium term. Our team took part in master classes and team-building events. This is a tremendous experience that has allowed us to gain new knowledge, get to know each other, and share experiences. This training will allow regional and municipal structures to work together on the implementation of investment projects," said Galina Goncharova, First Deputy General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
The Omsk Region has implemented various support measures for investors, from tax preferences to step–by-step instructions on connecting to utility networks. This year, the Regional Investment Standard has been updated with a new element - "Business Feedback". In the near future, the element is planned to be introduced into the work of the authorities of the Omsk region.
