Investment with a view of a pine forest: the Iskorka recreation center project in the Omsk region is waiting for its investor

The Omsk region relies on domestic tourism and offers businesses a ready–made investment proposal to transform the abandoned territory of the Iskorka children's camp in the Omsk region into a modern eco-resort with premium glamping. Such "boxed solutions", which are being developed by specialists from the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency together with investment commissioners of municipal districts, are part of a systematic effort to improve the region's investment climate under the leadership of Governor Vitaly Khotsenko.

According to the project, modular houses will appear on a plot of 341.5 hectares: triangular and spherical. The infrastructure is thought out to the smallest detail to make it interesting to relax at any time of the year.

The project has been fully calculated by experts and represents a well-thought-out business opportunity. Investments – 550 million rubles, profitability – 21%, and payback period – less than 6 years. The construction will take no more than 2 years and will create 20 permanent jobs.

Specialists of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency will provide the investor with comprehensive support at all stages of the project implementation. Their tasks include support in the preparation of permits, assistance in coordinating design decisions with relevant departments, and the selection of optimal government support measures. In addition, the Agency's experts will help establish communication with local authorities and resource supply organizations, as well as advise on marketing and promotion of the facility after launch. This approach minimizes administrative barriers and accelerates the project's entry into the operational stage.

"We offer businesses a unique opportunity to enter a ready-made area of the forest fund with permitted use for tourism. Omsk residents have long been waiting for a place where you can have a quality family vacation without spending hours on the road to Altai. And for the region, this is a step towards unlocking the natural potential of Siberia: clean air, pine forests and the proximity of the Irtysh River should work for the economy. Our team, in turn, will provide full support on a one–stop-shop basis," commented Svetlana Bazhenova, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
