Chinese business representatives were told about the implementation of investment projects in the Omsk region
Today, a large-scale forum and exhibition of China's industrial achievements, "Made in China 2025", is taking place at the regional Congress Hall. From June 16 to 17, the event participants will enjoy a rich business program and an exhibition showcasing innovations and technological achievements of the Chinese industry.
The event is supported by the Government of the Omsk Region and the Avangard Special Economic Zone.
The Governor of the Omsk Region, Vitaly Khotsenko, stressed that the forum opens up prospects for expanding business ties and implementing joint projects: "I am confident that the Made in China 2025 forum will contribute to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Omsk Region and Chinese partners. We are interested in increasing trade, exchanging technologies and opening new markets for our manufacturers."
Thus, as part of the business program, a round table "Implementation of investment projects in the Omsk region" was held, moderated by Denis Kushner, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Omsk Region.
In his report, he spoke about the favorable investment climate and advantages of the Omsk region, the investment directions of the region, and also presented business support structures.
The speaker of the round table was Galina Goncharova, First Deputy Director General of the Regional Agency for Development and Investment. In her report "One Window for investors in the region," she spoke about the Agency's activities, the target model of working with investors and the preparation of investment proposals for investment niches.
"The Agency for Development and Investment is engaged in attracting private investment, supporting investment projects in a "one-stop shop" mode, selecting sites for the implementation of investment projects, advising entrepreneurs on obtaining government support measures and implementing projects in the Omsk region. The Agency's specialists will help the investor to interact directly with the leadership of the region and municipality, minimize the launch time and financial costs of the project, promptly respond and control risks during implementation, as well as conduct effective communications between participants in the investment process," said Galina Goncharova, First Deputy General Director of the Agency.
Also during the event, the speakers spoke about the preferential zones of the region, the development of the cluster policy of the Omsk region, and also reviewed examples of the implementation of Chinese investment projects in the Russian Federation. Li Xipeng, head of the Chinese delegation and CEO of Axibo (Ingkou) trade and consulting, shared the Chinese view on the localization of production in Russia and the Omsk region.
It should be noted that the first joint Russian-Chinese Forum is part of the strategy for the development of foreign economic relations in the Omsk region. The event is organized with the support of the regional Government and is designed to strengthen partnerships with one of Russia's key economic partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
