The team of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency continues to improve its competencies in the field of lean manufacturing and workforce efficiency.
Today, colleagues from the Regional Competence Center of the Omsk Region conducted a training course "Fundamentals of lean Manufacturing" for Project Planning and Support Management specialists.
During the training, certified RCC trainers spoke about the concept of lean manufacturing, loss reduction, culture of continuous improvement, cost generation and flow mapping. The participants discussed how these principles can be applied to their workflows to increase productivity.
"The training in the basics of lean manufacturing took place in the form of practical training, which is the assembly of plugs. A simple game demonstrates how using "lean" tools can significantly reduce production cycle time and increase productivity. These tools can be successfully used in both production and office processes, as well as in everyday life," the Omsk Region RCC noted.
