The Omsk Region team participates in the competition «Leaders of Russia» to increase the investment attractiveness of the region
The sixth season of the management competition is in the active phase. «Leaders of Russia» – the flagship project of the Presidential Platform «Russia – The land of opportunity». The collective application for participation in the competition was submitted on the initiative of the Governor of the Omsk region. Vitaliya Khotsenko to consolidate the best management practices, strengthen the team's competencies to attract capital and implement promising investment projects in the region.
The head of the region is a finalist in the second season of the management competition. «Leaders of Russia». The Omsk Region's team of participants included the Director General of the Regional Agency for Development and Investment Svetlana Bazhenova, two deputy representatives of the Omsk Region to the Government of the Russian Federation – Alexey Marzan and Natalia Zhmikhova, Head of the Investment Attraction Department of the Omsk Region Representative Office under the Government of the Russian Federation Elena Bezrukavaya and Deputy Director General for the development of a Special Economic Zone of an industrial type «The avant-garde» Mikhail Derevyanko. The team's mentor is the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk region. Andrey Shpilenko.
«The Omsk Region team – These are people who work together every day to improve the investment climate and create comfortable and barrier-free conditions for doing business in the region. The main strength of the team lies in the fact that the participants know that unity is strength and that great results can be achieved together.», – said the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk region Andrey Shpilenko.
The team is currently undergoing a remote stage, during which each participant solves tests to assess managerial competencies. The online semi-finals of the project will be held in March and May. 2026 years. In them, teams in the video conference format will solve various management tasks.: strategy, people management, operations, and more. The face-to-face finals will be held in the summer 2026 years. The competencies of the participants will be evaluated by leading Russian experts.
