The Innotekhomsk 2026 IT Championship is taking place in the regional Congress Hall from March 27 to 28. This is the second event in the framework of the year-round marathon of IT championships with the support of the Government of the Omsk region. 687 applications have been submitted for participation, with more than 1,000 full-time participants.
The event was organized by Omsk State Pedagogical University with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Omsk Region and the IT Cluster of Siberia Association, with the assistance of relevant ministries and educational institutions of the region.
The partner of the IT Championship is the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
As part of the festival, children assemble and program robots, solve engineering problems, model in 3D, create media projects and mobile applications, control drones in simulators, and complete technological quests.
Participants will enjoy 14 full—time competitive tracks, from LEGO design and rubber-powered robots to engineering prototypes, robot deliveries, smart warehouse management and quadcopter racing, as well as many other exciting challenges. University applicants of the Omsk region who have won the IT championships will receive additional points upon admission.
"The INNOTEKHOMSK IT Championship is a vivid example of how the business space of the Congress Hall can become a technological platform for holding robotics competitions. Our squares allow you to create real robopoligons, control drones in simulations and complete technological quests for participants. The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency is always happy to support such events that help develop design and engineering thinking and early professional orientation among our youth," said Svetlana Bazhenova, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency.
