There are more than 20 educational, sports, leisure, and creative projects implemented with the support of the Omsk Center for Social Innovation and the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region.
The winner of the open vote, as well as the winners of other nominations determined by the competition committee, will be awarded at the VII International Forum of Social Entrepreneurs and Investors INNOSIB-2017 on October 19 in Omsk.
Experts, social entrepreneurs, representatives of traditional businesses, public organizations, representatives of federal, regional and municipal authorities from 10 countries and more than 20 subjects of the Russian Federation will meet at the Omsk Forum to discuss the main issues of social entrepreneurship and share their experience.
On October 18, the Forum will host master classes with the participation of Russian and foreign experts. On October 19, a plenary session will be held in the congress hall of the Omsk region, panel discussions, round tables, expert sessions and a discussion talk show will be organized.
The exhibition will feature the best social projects, interactive platforms for successful and sought-after businesses in the fields of additional education, leisure, healthcare, creativity, sports, and social services. The Forum will feature products and services of social entrepreneurs from the Omsk Region, the Republic of Tatarstan, other regions of Russia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, India, and Korea. An exchange of contacts for cluster residents will operate at the Forum, and a number of important agreements are expected to be signed. On October 20, it is planned to hold internship sites for Forum participants and a press tour to the sites of residents of Russia's first cluster of social innovations.
Omsk Region is the first region of Russia in which a cluster of social innovations was formed in 2017 as an integrated system for the development of the non–governmental sector of the social sphere of the region. The cluster will be presented at the INNOSIB forum to promote the Omsk Region's experience in other regions of the Federation.
