Lyubinsky municipal district plans to develop ecological, industrial and event tourism

Such opportunities were identified by the participants during the strategic session on conducting a SWOT analysis of the investment attractiveness of municipal districts. In addition to various areas of tourism, the leadership of the Lyubinsky municipal district noted the possibilities of developing roadside and shopping services along the federal highway, as well as the construction of sports and recreation facilities.

On February 11, a strategic session dedicated to the work on "reloading" investment municipal profiles was held in the Lyubinsky district. The business event was attended by the head of the district, Abai Rakimzhanov, representatives of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, heads of urban and rural settlements, representatives of business and local administrations.

"A cycle of strategic sessions is currently taking place in every municipal district of the Omsk region and in the city of Omsk. The investment profile is one of the elements of the municipal investment standard. The standard contains 10 mandatory elements that form a unified approach to the support of investment projects and create favorable conditions for the development of investment activities in the districts. Every municipality should have such a profile. The SWOT analysis will help you see what opportunities you can use to ensure that your area and its investment potential develop, and that every resident and entrepreneur in the municipality has a good and comfortable life and business," Evgeny Kovtun, General Director of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, said in his welcoming speech.

During the strategy session, the participants discussed in an open dialogue the issues of improving and developing infrastructure, building human resources and employment, as well as the development of the single-industry town of Krasny Yar and the possibilities of additional education and retraining of the management team.

It should be noted that the investment profile is the calling card of a municipal district to increase its investment attractiveness. It contains information about the socio-economic situation and development plans of the municipal area, as well as specific proposals for investors.

A series of strategic field visits to municipal districts will continue until the end of February. Next, a defense will be held in March, where investment commissioners from the districts will present a report on the work done and present investment profiles. The work in the region is aimed at building a high–quality ecosystem of business investment support, which will ensure the most effective interaction of all its participants - industry ministries, local governments, support institutions and the investors themselves.
