It is possible to modernize the municipal infrastructure of the region at the expense of federal funds

The Regional Agency for Development and Investment reports on the possibilities of modernizing public infrastructure systems owned by the state or municipal authorities in the Omsk Region with the involvement of federal funds.

Financial support mechanisms are provided for by a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 26.12.2015city No.1451 at the expense of State funds  corporations - The Fund for Assistance to Housing and Communal Services Reform for the modernization of public infrastructure systems.

Municipalities with a population of no more than can apply for support. 250 thousands of people. Only the concessionaire or the tenant of the infrastructure facilities can participate in the modernization project.

Financial support from the Housing and Communal Services Reform Fund is provided for the preparation of a modernization project, the implementation of a modernization project, as well as by subsidizing the interest rate on a loan for the modernization of municipal infrastructure facilities.

«Financial support within the framework of a single modernization project can be provided in two of these areas, with a total amount limited to 300 million rubles», - The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency is paying attention.

Municipalities are preparing an application for this type of financial assistance with the support of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency and the Regional Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services.
