Omsk Region municipalities present updated investment passports

On the site of the regional Congress Hall, the investment profiles of the municipal districts of the Omsk region were defended before an expert commission. The task of preparing business cards of the districts to increase their investment attractiveness was set by the Governor of the region, Vitaly Pavlovich Khotsenko. They will contain information about the socio-economic situation and development plans, as well as specific proposals for entrepreneurs.

The event was attended by representatives of executive authorities, business support structures, Omsk city Administration, heads and deputies of municipalities. The first group of districts that presented their projects included: Maryanovsky, Isilkulsky, Cherlaksky, Tarsky districts and Omsk.

Earlier, investment teams of municipal districts carried out large-scale work: they launched surveys among the population and business representatives, organized the collection of statistical information, and using a comprehensive SWOT analysis method identified the strengths and weaknesses of the district, identified promising investment niches and projects for development and attracting investors.

"The formation of investment profiles of municipalities is a priority task that we are implementing on behalf of Governor Vitaly Khotsenko (https://t.me/HocenkoVP ) jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development and the Agency for Development and Investment. Today we listened to the prepared investment profiles, saw a number of interesting projects in the field of construction, livestock development, agriculture, industrial enterprises, and also made a number of recommendations for further development. We decided to create our own unique investment passport, which will consist of three blocks. The first one will reveal the attractiveness of a particular municipal area. The second block is ready—made investment proposals by industry. The third is a set of support measures and mechanisms that will allow projects to be implemented. This approach may be of interest to an investor," said Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government.

After all municipalities are protected, the updated profiles will be posted on the Omsk Region Investment Portal.
