Municipal districts of the Omsk region have formed investment profiles
Investment profiles have been developed in 32 municipalities of the Omsk region — comprehensive information documents to increase investment attractiveness based on resource potential and socio-economic situation. The "business cards" of municipalities are posted on the Investment Portal of the Omsk Region and the websites of district administrations.
It should be recalled that the formation of investment profiles of municipalities is a priority task, which, on behalf of the head of the region Vitaly Khotsenko, was carried out by the regional Government, specialists from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Omsk region, the regional Agency for Development and Investment and investment authorized municipalities.
As part of the development of profiles, a survey of businesses and the population was conducted, which revealed the key problems of the territories, and conducted a diagnosis of work with investors. A number of strategic sessions were organized to identify strengths and weaknesses, opportunities for districts, generate ideas and increase investment attractiveness under the leadership of Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region.
"First of all, the municipal investment standard, which forms a unified approach to project support, helps to establish work in the investment sphere of municipal districts. The municipal investment profile is one of the ten mandatory elements, its main task is to shorten the investor's path from the emergence of an idea to the implementation of investments. The investment profile includes three main blocks: advantages, investment niches and support measures. The document will help ensure the most effective interaction of all participants involved in the implementation of the investment project – industry ministries, local governments, support institutions and investors," said Andrey Shpilenko.
A potential investor can get acquainted with the profiles of municipal districts on the Investment Portal of the Omsk region. The following information can be found in each document: investment analysis of the municipality, key socio-economic indicators, social and tourist infrastructure, investment projects implemented in the municipality, a list of investment niches, entrepreneurial initiatives and investment ideas, as well as investment sites for the implementation of new projects. In addition, the profile indicates the state support measures in force in the district and the contact details of the representatives of the investment team of the region.
It should be recalled that the regional Development and Investment Agency operates in the Omsk Region to implement the investment project. The structure is engaged in attracting private investment, supporting investment projects in a "one-stop shop" mode, selecting sites for the implementation of investment projects, and advising entrepreneurs on obtaining state support measures.
