The meat processing plant, with the help of state support under the national project, plans to increase production volumes.
The meat Processing Plant "Kompur" has started implementing lean production tools under the national project "Labor Productivity". Experts from the Regional Competence Center will help the company to increase its productivity.
Kirill Samodinsky, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Omsk Region, visited the plant today.
"I have been working as a deputy minister for only a week, before that I was involved in monitoring national projects that are being implemented in the region. I honestly admit that Labor Productivity was one of my favorite national projects, because thanks to the seemingly optimization of simple, essential things, enterprises are starting to work better and more efficiently," the Deputy Minister of Economic Development sharedKirill Samodinsky.
The meat processing plant "Kompur" was established in 2007. The plant produces meat and offal. Raw materials are purchased from Omsk agricultural organizations and farms. Within six months, the company's specialists, with the support of experts from the Regional Competence Center, will implement improvements to improve production efficiency.
"We have a new team, it is useful for us to go through these stages now, to understand our possibilities for increasing labor productivity. We expect that we will be able to find those places where we have losses, eliminate them together with the team, and get a methodology for dealing with these losses. We believe that the first six months will help us understand approaches to working with lean manufacturing, and take a leading position," said Vasily Sukhostav, CEO of MPZ Kompur.
The implementation of the national project at the enterprises is designed for 3 years. In 6 months, a sample flow will be created, and internal trainers will be trained to implement lean manufacturing tools. In the next 2.5 years, the company will independently continue to replicate lean technologies to other processes.
The national Labor Productivity project, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is designed to create conditions for annual productivity growth in Russian enterprises. To achieve these goals, the Government has developed a set of state support measures, which includes financial incentives, expert assistance in improving production processes and training of company employees.
