Does the film industry help to form the professional interest of young people in technical specialties? What government support measures exist for the development of industrial tourism? What is the situation with industrial tourism in the Omsk region? These and many other questions were answered by experts as part of the business program of the film festival "A Date with Russia. Siberian character".
The film Festival "A Date with Russia. Siberian Character" takes place in the period from April 2 to April 6 for the first time in our city. The festival is supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives. The competition program includes documentaries, popular science and feature films. More than 40 authors from all over the country became participants. In addition to film screenings, the screening will include workshops, exhibitions, round tables, film labs, and creative meetings with artists and composers.
Today, a round table on the topic "Cinema as a tool for promoting industrial tourism among young people to popularize and master professions in real sectors of the economy" was held at the Boiling Point of Omsk Technical University.
Mikhail Kupriyanov, Deputy Director General of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, delivered a speech during the business meeting.
"At the end of February, the regional industrial tourism development team of the Omsk region presented the first tourist and industrial route "Industry of Siberia - the Greatness of Russia." It is based on several time milestones, and the purpose is to show the relationship between history and modernity, cultural and industrial traditions. The team has done a lot of work, and there is an equally important event ahead - the final of the Open Industry educational accelerator, where more than 40 regions of the Russian Federation will present their industrial routes and more than 1,000 people will receive a new specialty, Specialist in the Development of Industrial Tourism. I am confident that the development of industrial tourism will give the region an additional impetus in improving the investment climate, developing human resources and promoting Omsk industrial enterprises," said Mikhail Kupriyanov.
