More than two hundred and fifty journalists showed up at the Omsk Inforum

Omsk will become the third Russian city to host the Inforum of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation.

Tomorrow, July 12, the Inforum of the Union of Journalists of Russia will start at the regional Expocenter with the support of the Main Directorate of Information Policy of the Omsk region. The participants of this unique educational workshop will be journalists, bloggers, media managers, and press secretaries.

According to Yulia Zagitova, Secretary of the Union of Journalists of Russia, 207 people showed up for the forum in the first five days of registration. At the moment, over two hundred and fifty people have already notified the organizing committee of their desire to become a participant in the Inforum. "We were pleasantly surprised by the activity of Omsk journalists. On the website https://omsk.inforum.media We have already closed the registration, but the calls continue to arrive. Everyone has been registered and we are waiting for you at the educational workshop site," Yulia Zagitova emphasized.

Inforum is unique in that it gathers different audiences: representatives of editorial offices of regional newspapers, regional journalists, as well as young bloggers and authors of public publications. Each area has its own educational program. "Within the framework of the Inforums, we give practice to young journalists so that in the future they will already apply their acquired skills in their student media, youth media and develop regional youth journalism, taking it to a new level," said Anastasia Pryazhentseva, Director of Media Development, who will speak at the Omsk Inforum as head. a workshop for young journalists. The topic of her class is "Fact–checking and introducing new trends in youth media."
