The state support funds will be used to pay interest on investment loans in livestock and crop production.
An additional 153 million rubles have been allocated from the federal budget for the development of the Omsk Region's agro-industrial complex to pay interest on investment loans. Most of the state support funds - 145 million rubles - will be directed to the development of animal husbandry, the remaining 8 million rubles will be transferred to agricultural producers who took loans for the development of crop production.
The Ministry of Industry reported that 660 investment loans received by agricultural producers for construction, modernization of agricultural facilities, purchase of machinery and equipment are subsidized in the region.
In total, in 2016, subsidies from the federal budget in the amount of more than 2.5 billion rubles were attracted for the implementation of the regional state program "Development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials and food markets in the Omsk region", of which more than 865 million rubles were allocated to support investment loans.
