The Board of Directors of the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency summed up the results of its activities for the first half of 2024

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Regional Agency for Development and Investment was held today under the leadership of Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region. During the meeting, CEO Evgeny Kovtun reported on the results of the company's activities for the first half of 2024, as well as plans for the current half of the year.

The Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency performs three main tasks in the region: attracting investments, supporting investment projects in a "one-stop shop" mode, and developing and enhancing the role of convention and exhibition activities.

During the report, Evgeny Kovtun told the members of the Board of Directors that the volume of investments in fixed assets attracted by the Agency during the reporting period amounted to 6485 million rubles, currently 59 active investment projects with a total amount of 270 billion rubles are being implemented in the Omsk region. Revenue of 16 million rubles was also received for commercial events, including 18 exhibition and fair events and 63 congress events.

A separate section in the report on the work carried out was devoted to industrial parks and technology parks. Thus, the Irtysh Technopark and the TECHNOOMSK Industrial Park have met the requirements of federal legislation and are included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. It is planned to accredit two technoparks in the field of high technologies, one industrial park and one technopark.

Following the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government Andrey Shpilenko instructed the Agency to strengthen its efforts to achieve the annual key performance indicators set earlier by the Board of Directors to improve the region's performance in the National Investment Climate Rating.

It should be noted that in the near future the Agency plans to launch a new service on the investment portal of the Omsk region - "Investor's Personal Account" (LKI). With the advent of LKI, in just a few clicks, existing and potential investors will be able to register and track the implementation of their investment projects online, get acquainted with current support measures and send appeals.
