At a meeting on the development of industrial tourism in the Omsk region, she discussed the ideas of international industrial routes.
Today, a working meeting of the regional team for the development of industrial tourism in the Omsk region, led by Deputy Chairman of the regional Government Andrey Shpilenko, took place at the regional Congress Hall. The event is one of the stages of the project activity of the working group within the framework of the All-Russian educational program "Open Industry".
The meeting was attended by representatives of executive authorities, the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency, and specialists from industrial enterprises. One of the key objectives of the business meeting was to identify a promising industrial route focused on joint implementation with the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Students have completed watching educational videos from the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and are completing their last homework assignments. The participants will have a number of strategic sessions ahead, including with ASI specialists, inspection tours to advanced industrial enterprises in the region, as well as pre-defense of final projects for the development of individual sightseeing routes. The result of the team's project activities will be the development of an international industrial route and a strategy for the development of industrial tourism in the Omsk Region," the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency noted.
It should be recalled that last year the Omsk region hosted the presentation of the first industrial and tourist route "Industry of Siberia - the Greatness of Russia", which showed the inextricable relationship between history and modernity, cultural and industrial traditions. And already in the period from April 2 to April 5, St. Petersburg will host the final of the IV All-Russian award "Regions of Tourism and Hospitality", where the Omsk region will compete for the victory in the nominations "Region of youth Tourism" and "Region of industrial tourism".
"The regional team for the development of industrial tourism in the Omsk region will develop two routes. The first is the Industrial Wizard, which aims to demonstrate the potential of Omsk engineering companies manufacturing equipment not only for Omsk, but also for the regions of Russia and neighboring countries. The second route is Omsk Brands, which will show tourists how famous local brands such as Lyubinskaya Condensed Milk, Just a Hat, Staff Uniform and others are born," said Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government.
